Please read and share fairy tales at home and encourage your child to talk about the structure.

Dear Parents/Guardians,
In a couple of weeks, your child will be planning and writing a fairy tale about a made up character.
We would like them to make a puppet at home that will be the main character in their story.
Please help your child to make a puppet at home. You can make it out of any materials you like.
Thank you for your support.

This week we will be experiencing new and exciting things. So far we have been outside experiencing nature, watching different clips and selecting different activities to write about. We have been selecting different ways to express ourselves to make our writing fun.
Some of us have been writing up rules to games we make up.
Others have been writing about craft activities, making lists of materials etc
Others have been writing a script for a play and making up stories with interesting characters.
We have been building and constructing and using vocab from our experiences to write.
